For Emporium De Vogue, that journey began in 2022 in the historic, culture-rich city of Ibadan, Oyo State. Founded by Omolola Olabode, who serves as our visionary Owner and Creative Director, the brand was born out of a desire to redefine contemporary female fashion through the lens of meticulous craftsmanship.
Omolola’s passion started long before the brand's official launch. Surrounded by the vibrant textures of traditional textiles and fueled by an obsession with precision tailoring, she envisioned a fashion house where garments weren't just manufactured, but architectural pieces of art tailored to the individual woman. Starting as a boutique, made-to-order studio in Ibadan, the brand quickly gained a reputation for its uncompromising fit, eye-catching silhouettes, and seamless fusion of heritage textiles with modern, high-fashion structures.
The Evolution: From Ibadan to Lagos and to the World.
By 2023, the whisper of Emporium De Vogue’s unique creations had turned into a roar. To position the brand at the center of African fashion and global logistics, Omolola made the strategic move to relocate the heart of our operations to Lagos, Nigeria.
Stepping into the high-energy, fast-paced capital of style allowed us to expand our horizons without losing the intimate, artisanal soul that defined our early days. Lagos became our launchpad to the world.
