Refund and Returns Policy

At Emporium De Vogue (EDV), our goal is to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However, as a brand specializing in custom tailoring and high-end fashion, we operate under a strict set of guidelines regarding refunds and returns.

1. Refund Policy

  • No Cash Refunds: Emporium De Vogue does not offer cash or credit card refunds for any completed orders.

  • Store Credit: In instances where a return is accepted for a Ready-to-Wear (RTW) item and a replacement is unavailable, we will issue Store Credit in the form of a coupon. Store credit is valid for [6 months] and can be used across both EDV Women and EDV Gents collections.

  • Bespoke/Custom Orders: Because custom garments are cut and sewn to your specific measurements, they are strictly ineligible for refunds or store credit.

2. Returns (Eligibility)

We only accept returns for standard-sized, Ready-to-Wear items. To initiate a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Notification: You must notify us of your intent to return the item within 48 hours of the delivery date.

  • Condition: The item must be in its original, pristine condition—unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free of any scents (perfume, smoke, etc.).

  • Packaging: The garment must be returned in its original EDV packaging with all branding tags and security seals intact.

  • Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, certain items such as undergarments or accessories may be excluded from our return policy.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Any garment made to specific customer measurements (Bespoke/Senator Suits/Couture Dresses).

  • Items purchased during a “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Flash Sale” event.

  • Items returned after the 48-hour notification window.

4. The Return Process

  1. Request: Email our support team or contact us via WhatsApp with your Order Number and reason for return.

  2. Approval: Once your request is reviewed, we will provide you with the return shipping address for our Lagos studio.

  3. Inspection: Upon receiving your return, our quality control team will inspect the garment. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item shows signs of wear or damage.

  4. Resolution: Once approved, we will process your replacement or issue your store credit within [5–7] business days.

5. Shipping Costs

  • Responsibility: The cost of return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • International Returns: For international clients, please ensure the package is marked as “Returned Goods” to avoid unnecessary customs duties. Any duties or taxes incurred by EDV during the return process will be deducted from your store credit.

  • Original Shipping: Initial shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.
