Terms and Conditions for Emporium De Vogue (EDV)
Effective Date: May 2026
Welcome to the official website of Emporium De Vogue (EDV). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products from our two primary divisions: EDV Women (Female Apparel) and EDV Gents (Menswear).
By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
1. Right to Modify Terms and Services
Amendments: Emporium De Vogue reserves the right to change, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on this website.
Pricing: We reserve the right to adjust the prices of our garments, shipping fees, and services at our discretion. Prices for products are subject to change without notice.
Service Discontinuation: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product or design (within EDV Women or EDV Gents) at any time.
2. Brand Structure & Product Customization
The EDV Brand: Emporium De Vogue is the parent brand. All products sold under EDV Women and EDV Gents are subject to these terms.
Bespoke Nature: Many of our garments utilize traditional fabrics (such as Aso Oke, Jankoso, or specialty laces). Due to the artisanal nature of these textiles, slight variations in weave or color may occur.
Customer Measurements: For all custom-tailored orders (including Senator suits and Agbada), the customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements. EDV is not liable for fit issues resulting from incorrect measurements submitted by the user.
3. Production & Order Processing
Timeframe: To ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship, our standard production and order processing timeframe is 5 to 14 business days.
Commencement: This window begins only after payment has been successfully confirmed.
Exclusions: This timeframe refers strictly to the creation and packaging of your order and does not include shipping or transit time.
4. Payment Terms
Payment Gateway: We primarily process online payments through Paystack. We accept all major credit/debit cards, USSD, and bank transfers supported by the Paystack interface.
Direct Bank Transfers: For customers authorized to pay via direct transfer, production will only commence once the funds have been verified by our internal finance team.
Security: We do not store your credit card details; all financial data is handled securely by our third-party payment processors.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Domestic Shipping: We offer delivery across all states within Nigeria via local logistics partners.
International Shipping: We ship worldwide. Please note: International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Liability: While we track every shipment, Emporium De Vogue is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or third-party courier service disruptions.
6. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Custom-Sized Items: We maintain a Strict No-Return / No-Exchange / No-Refund Policy on all bespoke and custom-sized garments. These items are tailored specifically to your body and cannot be resold. (The only exception is in situations where an obvious error has been made by our production team.)
Ready-to-Wear: For non-customized, off-the-shelf items, exchanges may be considered within 48 hours of delivery, provided the item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
Cancellations: Orders can only be canceled within 24 hours of payment. Once production has started, cancellations are not permitted.
7. Intellectual Property
Due to the nature of custom-made apparel and hygiene standards for certain garments:
Items made to specific measurements (Bespoke) are non-refundable.
Ready-to-wear items may be exchanged within 5 days, provided they are unworn and in original packaging.
8. Limitation of Liability
Emporium De Vogue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or the inability to use our website.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Nigeria.
